Reverse description A slow quadriga proceeding to the left, drawing a round, basket-shaped car adorned with garlands; within the car are three prominent corn-ears (wheat ears), symbolic of imperial munificence and agricultural prosperity. The four horses are depicted in a measured, processional gait, with careful attention to their individual forms. The reverse legend is distributed across the upper and lower fields, with the exergue area left plain. This type alludes to the triumphal and religious ceremonies associated with the Flavian dynasty.
