Obverse description Laureate head of Emperor Titus facing right, rendered in high relief with characteristic Flavian portraiture. The bust is bare-shouldered, presenting a naturalistic likeness of the emperor. The encircling legend runs clockwise around the obverse field, naming Titus with his full imperial titulature. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hand-struck Roman silver coinage of this period.
