Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Emperor Titus facing right, rendered with finely detailed curly hair beneath the laurel wreath and a short beard, the neck truncation cleanly cut. The portrait displays a confident, naturalistic profile characteristic of Flavian imperial portraiture. The encircling Latin legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan, bordered by a partial beaded rim. The bust is depicted with no drapery, presenting the emperor in the traditional heroic Roman imperial manner.
