Obverse description Laureate head of Titus facing right, with short hair rendered in the naturalistic Flavian style. The bust is bare or lightly draped at the shoulder, presented in right-facing profile. A beaded border frames the periphery of the flan. The encircling Latin legend reads T CAES IMP VESP CEN, identifying Titus in his capacity as Caesar, Imperator, and Censor under his father Vespasian's reign.

Reverse description A female figure, identified as Vesta or Roma, seated left upon a throne or chair of state, her body draped in robes falling to her feet which rest upon a footstool. Her right hand extends forward holding a patera or branch, while her left hand rests at her side or holds a sceptre. The composition is set within a plain field, with the abbreviated Latin legend PONTIF MAXIM distributed around the periphery, proclaiming the holder of the office of Pontifex Maximus.
