Obverse description Bare-headed, laureate bust of Titus facing right, rendered with naturalistic portraiture characteristic of Flavian die-engraving, the wreath of laurel leaves clearly detailed across the brow. The neck is truncated at the lower field. The encircling legend is distributed around the periphery in capital Latin lettering, reading T CAES IMP VESP CENS, identifying Titus in his role as Caesar, Imperator, and Censor under his father Vespasian.
