| Reverse description | Neptune standing left, nude but for a chlamys draped over his left arm, wearing a diadem, his right foot placed upon the prow of a ship (prow left). He holds an aplustre (stern ornament) in his extended right hand. At his sides stand the Catanaean brothers Anapias and Amphinomus, each carrying a parent upon his shoulders in an act of filial piety.
