| Obverse description | Head of Juno Sospita facing right, wearing the characteristic goat-skin headdress with horns, the scalp draped over the hair in elongated folds; a lunate earring is visible at the neck. A circular shield and a small uncertain symbol appear in the left field. Below the truncation, the partial legend L•ROSCI identifies the moneyer Lucius Roscius Fabatus. The flan is irregularly struck with the characteristic serrated edge of this issue. |
