Obverse description Draped bust of Bonus Eventus facing right, the hair elaborately dressed with a laurel wreath and long tresses falling onto the shoulder; the face rendered with fine classical detail in the Late Republican style. The legend CESTIANVS arcs along the left field, while the senatorial authorization mark S•C appears to the right of the bust. The flan is slightly irregular at the periphery, as characteristic of hammered Republican coinage.
