Obverse description Turreted bust of Cybele facing right, rendered with fine engraving characteristic of the late Roman Republic. In the left field, the moneyer's control inscription CESTIANVS appears counterclockwise. A forepart of a lion is placed behind the head, and a globe is positioned below the chin, referencing Cybele's cosmic dominion. The design is framed by a neat bead-and-reel border.
