| Reverse description | The goddess Victoria standing facing, her wings spread, holding a shield in each hand; to either side stands a military trophy composed of a helmet, oval shields, and carnyces mounted on a post with crossed spears below. The letters S and C (Senatus Consulto) appear in the lower field, one to each side of the central figure, flanking the base of the trophies. A beaded border runs around the inner periphery of the flan, and the overall composition conveys a strong martial and triumphal iconography befitting the propaganda of the Second Triumvirate. |
