| Obverse description | Bare-headed and bearded bust of Lucius Aelius Caesar facing right, with curly hair rendered in fine detail. The portrait is rendered in the naturalistic style characteristic of Hadrianic-era Roman coinage, conveying a youthful yet distinguished appearance.
