| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and bearded bust of Emperor Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic naturalistic portraiture typical of Hadrianic coinage. The emperor's curly hair and full beard are rendered with fine detail, reflecting the Hellenistic artistic influence Hadrian championed throughout his reign.
