Obverse description Laureate bust of Hadrian facing right, with bare chest and traces of drapery visible on the far shoulder. The emperor's portrait is rendered in the early Hadrianic style, with closely cropped curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The legend encircles the bust along the periphery of the flan.
