Reverse description The personification of Clementia stands facing left, holding a patera in her extended right hand and a long sceptre in her left. An altar appears to the left of the figure, and a column is occasionally visible behind her. The composition is typical of the allegorical reverse types favoured during Hadrian's reign, presenting imperial virtues in classicizing form. The reverse legend encircles the field, identifying the personification and the emperor's titles.
