(Translation: Imperator Caesar Traianus Hadrianus Augustus. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Trajan Hadrian, emperor (Augustus).)
Reverse description The personification of Concordia is depicted seated left on a throne, holding a patera in her extended right hand and resting her left arm upon a standing figure of Spes (Hope). A cornucopia may appear beneath the throne in some specimens. The reverse legend, distributed around the field, records Hadrian's early imperial titles and invokes Concordia as a theme of political harmony during his accession year.
