| Reverse description | The personification of Liberalitas stands facing left in full figure, draped in a long chiton and himation, extending her right hand to hold an abacus or coin-counter (tessera) and cradling a cornucopia in her left arm. The figure is rendered in elegant classical style, symbolising the emperor's sixth public donative to the Roman people. The encircling Latin legend naming LIBERALITAS AVG VI occupies the periphery of the field, with the numeral VI confirming this as the sixth such recorded imperial distribution. |
