| Obverse description | Bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Hadrian facing right, rendered with characteristic short curly hair and full beard in the Hellenistic philosophical tradition adopted by the emperor. The portrait displays strong naturalistic modelling with well-defined facial features and a confident, idealised likeness. The circular Latin legend surrounds the effigy in the field, reading from lower left. The flan is slightly irregular, consistent with hand-struck Roman imperial coinage of the period. |

| Reverse description | The goddess Fortuna depicted as a full-length draped female figure standing facing left, rendered in fine relief with flowing robes characteristic of late Hadrianic die engraving. In her extended right hand she holds a rudder, the attribute of divine guidance over the destinies of men, while her left arm cradles a large cornucopia symbolising abundance and prosperity. The figure stands on a ground line, occupying the centre of the field, flanked by the two-word legend distributed on either side. The composition reflects the standard Hadrianic iconographic programme associating imperial good fortune with divine sanction. |
