Reverse description Full-length figure of Minerva, goddess of wisdom and warfare, standing in three-quarter view facing right, helmeted and draped in a long peplos. She holds an upright spear in her right hand and rests her left hand upon the upper rim of a large round shield set on the ground at her side. The composition fills the flan with commanding presence, and the reverse legend COS III appears divided in the field to left and right of the figure, referencing Hadrian's third consulship.
