Reverse description The personification of Concordia stands draped in full-length robes, facing left, in a dignified contrapposto pose. She extends her right hand forward holding an olive branch, symbol of peace and accord, while her left arm cradles a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and foliage, emblematic of abundance. The figure is rendered in the classical Roman allegorical tradition with flowing drapery articulated in fine detail. The encircling legend CONCORDIA PROVINCIARVM proclaims the harmony of the provinces, a propagandistic message central to Galba's efforts to legitimise his rule following the fall of Nero.
