| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, with draped left shoulder visible, rendered in high relief in the Roman imperial portrait tradition. The emperor's effigy displays characteristic Flavian portraiture with a strong jawline and short curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling legend runs clockwise around the periphery of the flan. The portrait is boldly struck and slightly off-center, consistent with hand-hammered coinage of the period. |
