Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in the imperial portrait style typical of the Flavian dynasty, with characteristic curled hair beneath the wreath. The effigy displays a strong, slightly bearded profile with pronounced facial features. The encircling Latin legend runs from the lower left, divided around the portrait. The flan is slightly irregular in outline, as is characteristic of hand-struck Roman silver coinage of this period.
