| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Domitian as Caesar facing right, depicted in youthful style appropriate to his status as heir during the reigns of Vespasian and Titus. The effigy displays characteristic Flavian portraiture with short curled hair beneath the laurel wreath. The encircling legend reads CAESAR DIVI F DOMITIANVS COS VII, distributed around the bust. The flan is irregular and slightly spread, as typical of Roman hammered coinage of this period. |
