Obverse description Laureate bust of Emperor Domitian facing right, with aegis visible at the shoulder truncation, rendered in the high-relief Flavian style characteristic of the Roman Imperial period. The emperor's portrait displays his characteristic features with a wreath of laurel leaves encircling the head. The encircling legend reads IMP CAES DOMITIANVS AVG GERMANIC, distributed around the obverse field. The coin bears a later suspension hole pierced at the top of the flan above the head, indicating ancient or post-antique use as a pendant.
