| Obverse description | Laureate bust of Domitian facing right, draped at the shoulder, rendered with characteristic late Flavian portraiture. The emperor's features are depicted with pronounced detail, including a laurel wreath secured about the head. The encircling legend runs clockwise around the bust within a beaded border, identifying the emperor by his full imperial titulature. The flan is slightly irregular, as is typical of hand-struck Roman silver coinage of this period. |
