Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in the characteristic Flavian portrait style with finely detailed curly hair and a draped shoulder visible at the bust truncation. The emperor's effigy presents a strong, idealized profile with the laurel wreath rendered in crisp relief. The peripheral legend, incised in sharp Latin capitals, encircles the design and occupies the full extent of the flan. The overall portrait quality is consistent with output of the Rome mint during Domitian's later reign.

Reverse description Minerva, patron goddess of Domitian, stands facing left in a martial pose with her weight borne on the right leg. The goddess is depicted helmeted and clad in a long chiton, brandishing an upright spear in her right hand while her left arm rests at her side. The figure is executed in the fine relief style characteristic of the Rome mint under the Flavian dynasty, with the field otherwise plain and uncluttered. The encircling legend, rendered in clear Latin capitals, records Domitian's imperial salutation, consular, censorial, and paternal titles. Minerva's prominent presence on Domitianic coinage directly reflects the emperor's well-attested personal devotion to the goddess.
