Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, with finely rendered hair tied with a laurel wreath, neck truncation visible at base. The effigy displays characteristic Flavian portraiture with a strong profile, prominent brow, and detailed facial features. The obverse legend encircles the bust in a continuous band of crisp Latin capitals. The flan is slightly irregular, as typical of late first-century Roman silver coinage, with the design well centred within the field.
Obverse script Latin

(Translation: Imperator Caesar Domitianus Augustus Germanicus, Pontifex Maximus, Tribunicia Potestate Octava. Supreme commander (Imperator), Caesar, Domitian, emperor (Augustus), conqueror of the Germans, high priest, holder of tribunician power for the eighth time.)
