Reverse description Minerva, helmeted and in martial attire, standing right atop a rostral column, brandishing a spear in her right hand and holding a shield on her left arm; an owl perches to the right at the base of the column. This Minervian type is among the most emblematic reverse designs of Domitianic coinage, reflecting the emperor's particular veneration of the goddess. The reverse legend is distributed around the field in Latin capitals.
