Obverse description Laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in fine high relief with carefully engraved hair and laurel wreath. The portrait conveys the mature imperial effigy characteristic of Domitian's later coinage, with strong facial features and a broad neck truncation. The circumferential legend reads DOMITIANVS AVG GERM, distributed around the field from lower left to upper right.

Reverse description A tetrastyle temple depicted in frontal elevation, its pediment surmounted by a decorative acroterion, and its colonnade rendered with fine beaded detailing. Within the cella, the seated figure of Serapis is enthroned, holding a sceptre, with the three-headed hound Cerberus seated at his feet. The legend IMP CAES is split vertically across the field, with IMP to the left and CAES to the right of the temple facade.
