Obverse description Bare laureate head of Domitian facing right, rendered in typical Flavian portraiture style with strong facial features. The legend encircles the portrait, running from lower left around the top of the flan to the right. The flan is irregular in shape, as characteristic of hand-struck Roman silver coinage of the Flavian period, with slight die wear evident across the portrait field.
