Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Clodius Albinus facing right, with drapery over the left shoulder. The portrait features a short, densely curled beard rendered in fine relief, characteristic of the Severan-era engraving style. The obverse legend encircles the bust, running from lower left to upper right around the coin's field. The effigy displays the strong, individualistic portraiture typical of Roman imperial coinage of the late second century AD.
