Obverse description Bare head of Honos facing right, rendered in fine Augustan style with idealised, youthful features and neatly striated hair swept back from the forehead. The portrait is set within a circular legend reading M DVRMIVS IIIVIR HONORI, identifying the moneyer Marcus Durmius in his capacity as Triumvir Monetalis and referencing the deity Honos. The field is plain, and the flan shows the characteristic irregular fabric typical of late Republican and early Imperial hammered silver coinage. No stars appear on this obverse, contrary to the database entry; the design is dominated entirely by the portrait and surrounding inscription.
