Reverse description A hunting dog depicted in full gallop to the right, rendered with dynamic musculature and outstretched legs conveying swift motion. A horizontal spear appears below the hound in the field. In the exergue, the moneyer's name C POSTVMI is inscribed in Latin capitals, followed below by the AT monogram, serving as a control mark or secondary magistrate's symbol. The composition closely imitates the reverse type of the Roman Republican denarius of C. Postumius, struck circa 74 BC.
