| Obverse description | Central field features the crowned and intertwined royal cypher of Sigismund III Vasa enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The date numerals '23' (for 1623) appear flanking the monogram on either side within the circle. The design is struck on a square klippe flan with slightly irregular edges, characteristic of the Łobżenica hammered coinage. The surrounding legend reads SIGIS III REX. |
