Obverse description King depicted standing in frontal pose, rendered in a crude and schematic style characteristic of late Kidarite issues. The royal figure is shown in ceremonial dress with arms extended, occupying the full field of the coin. The Brahmi legend 'Kidara' appears below the king's left arm in roughly engraved characters. The overall execution reflects the artistic debasement typical of later Kidarite coinage, with bold but imprecise die-cutting resulting in heavily stylised forms.
