Reverse description Two oval cartouches side by side in high relief, displaying the coats of arms of La Sagne (left, featuring fir trees on a rocky outcrop) and Le Locle (right, featuring a checkerboard field with fir trees), joined by ornate baroque scrollwork. A radiant Swiss cross surmounts the composition at the top, and a wreath composed of a laurel branch to the left and an oak branch to the right frames the lower portion, tied at the base. The dates 1665 and 1741 appear to the left and right respectively in the upper field.
