| Obverse description | Crude hammered silver flan bearing a multi-line Arabic legend in relief, executed in a bold, somewhat angular hand characteristic of medieval Central Asian coinage. The inscription, which references the issuing ruler Shah Baha' al-Din, fills the entire field with no border or decorative frame. The irregular planchet, exhibiting characteristic cracks and flan breaks typical of this series, displays a flat, uneven surface.
