Reverse description Central quartered coat of arms of the Lordship of Bergh, supported by two rampant lions as heraldic supporters, the whole surmounted by a crowned helm with elaborate mantling and crest. The shield displays the combined armorial bearings of the house of Bergh and its associated lordships. The circumferential Latin legend, divided by stops and running between an outer toothed border and an inner beaded border, declares the mint and type of coin. The composition is typical of the heraldic daalder type produced in the northern Netherlands during the latter half of the sixteenth century.
