| Obverse description | Crowned quartered shield of arms bearing the combined arms of Bronckhorst, Brederode, Batenburg, and Mark, set within an ornate decorative frame. The heraldic achievement is rendered in the late Renaissance style typical of Low Countries coinage of the period. A circumferential Latin legend runs along the coin's outer margin, identifying the issuing authority. The overall design reflects the feudal authority of the lady of Vianen as a sovereign issuer.
