Obverse description Central field features a double-tailed rampant lion holding the coat of arms of Bergh by a cord, rendered in the late medieval heraldic style typical of hammered Netherlands coinage. The design is enclosed within double beaded circles, between which runs a continuous Latin legend naming the lord and his titles. The heraldic composition is bold and symmetrical, consistent with the feudal issues of the Lords of Bergh.
