The surface is smooth with natural mineral inclusions and age patination visible across the jade matrix. On examples with perforation, two drilled suspension holes are present on this face, positioned asymmetrically near opposite ends of the longitudinal axis, consistent with use as a strung currency or funerary ornament. |
