Reverse description The central field bears a poorly executed rendition of the three golden lions passant guardant of England, arranged in pale on a shield form filling the majority of the coin's face, imitating the reverse design used on genuine United Kingdom one pound coins of the English regional series. The lions display characteristic counterfeit weaknesses: indistinct claw and mane detail, uneven relief, and soft definition throughout. A beaded border runs along the inner rim. The denomination ONE POUND appears in a straight legend along the lower exergue.
