Reverse description Central field depicts an allegorical equestrian figure in armour, possibly Britannia, mounted on a horse and holding a standard, set within a radiate oval cartouche flanked by cherubs and other allegorical figures. A circular legend reading around the full periphery identifies the token as a coronation gift from the Mayor of Dover, with the date 1902 appearing inverted at the lower rim.
