Reverse description A stylized Gothic castle of three towers, the central tower being the tallest and surmounted by a crown, occupying the full field of the coin in the manner typical of Castilian cornados. The two flanking turrets feature arched gateways, and the overall design is rendered with considerable architectural detail despite the small module. The encircling Latin legend, partially visible due to the irregular flan, identifies the issuing kingdom and includes the mint letter 'B' for Burgos positioned within or adjacent to the legend.
