Obverse description Bare-headed bust of King Haakon VII facing right, set within a beaded circle at the top of the medal, with the legend ·HAAKON·VII· NORGES KONGE· surrounding it. The central field bears the jubilee inscription JUBILÆUM / 1814-1914 in large relief lettering, flanked by elaborate oak branches with acorns. At the bottom, the crowned Norwegian royal coat of arms — depicting a crowned lion rampant holding a halberd — is displayed within a shield, flanked by ribbon banners inscribed ALT FOR NORGE.
