Obverse description The field features a bold industrial composition in high relief depicting a large power transformer with cooling fins and high-voltage insulators at right, a parabolic antenna dish at centre, and a large flanged mechanical wheel or turbine component at left. High-tension transmission lines recede diagonally into the upper right background. The engraver's signature V. DEMANET appears vertically on the left. The legend ACEC is inscribed in raised letters along the lower rim.

Reverse description The reverse presents a plain convex field bearing the ACEC monogram logo — interlaced letters within a circle — at centre. The dates 1881-1904-1954 arc across the upper portion of the field in large raised numerals. The full company name is rendered in four lines of raised lettering in the lower field.
