Reverse description The central field depicts a relief map of the Fort Peck Indian Reservation, rendered as a buffalo shape defined by rivers and creeks, flanked on either side by two eagle-feathered Plains Indian staffs. Above the map, a semicircular arch topped with a sun motif bears the inscription of the unit designation in the field. A Plains Indian dance whip appears at the base of the map. The legend is arranged around the periphery, with the year in the exergue.
