| Reverse description | Three heraldic shields arranged in a trefoil composition occupy the field: at the top, the arms of Switzerland (white cross on red, with a knight above); at lower left, the arms of the canton of Graubünden; and at lower right, the arms of the city of Chur. Decorative laurel and oak branches fill the intervals between the shields. The name of the city in its three linguistic forms — COIRE, COIRA, and CUIRA — is inscribed around the upper and lower portions of the field. The engraver's name GRÖBLI appears at lower right. The field has a proof finish framed by a beaded border. |
