| Obverse description | Elongated oval silver ingot of irregular cast form, the convex obverse surface bearing eight hand-applied ink stamps (墨書, bokusho) arranged across the field in two registers. The stamps include certification marks in cursive Japanese script reading 'Keichō' (慶長) and 'Gin' (銀, silver), together with additional authenticating characters applied by the za (mint guild) assayers. A single small circular punch mark is visible near the upper central field. The overall surface displays the characteristic patina and texture of cast silver, with the stamp impressions standing in clear relief against the smoothed field. |
