Reverse description The reverse displays a cruciform arrangement of four crowned shields bearing the royal arms: the top and bottom shields are quartered with the three lions passant of England and the fleurs-de-lis of France, while the left shield bears the harp of Ireland and the right shield the rampant lion of Scotland. A crowned radiant cross with a central orb occupies the centre of the cross, and the interstitial spaces between the shields feature the interlocked royal cipher 'C R'. The legend and date run around the periphery with a beaded border.
