| Obverse description | Laureate head of Apollo facing right, rendered in the archaic Greek style characteristic of Aeolian civic bronzes of the fourth century BC. The hair is arranged in wavy locks falling behind the neck, with the laurel wreath clearly delineated across the brow. The bust is draped, with facial features showing the idealized divine portraiture typical of the period. The flan is irregular and somewhat worn, with a rich brown patina. |
